WALK THROUGH NEW LIBRARY BUILDING!

The October moon waxes over Garden Valley's new library building--a good omen. Insulation was finished last week, the septic is done, 99% of the internal walls are standing, plumbing and heating are ready, and builders are getting ready to sheetrock. It's a good time to comeout and take a look at what's been done and talk to library board members. This Saturday, October 16, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., the library will be open to the community and refreshments will be served.

Library Director Kathy Smith says she hopes it will be open for business before Christmas.
(L-R) Smith, and board members Jody Mabe, Richard Goetsch, and Richard Wilson showed up for dinner at the Senior Center on Tuesday, to receive a $1,000 check from Senior Board President Ron Richter, left. The Seniors wanted to show support for the library and offered the money for the library to use in any way they saw fit.
