Garden Club Begins Seniors Memorial Garden

Contributions in all aspects from the planning, to the constructon of tiers, to the digging and planting, will be welcomed by the Garden Valley Garden Club, as members begin the creation of the long-planned Senior Center Memorial Garden.

This Saturday, April 9, at 2:00 p.m., will be the Senior Center Project planning meeting and they could use everyone's input.  Focus for now will be garden planting layout and setting up a drip system

Also needed are railroad ties, plants, mulch, soil, manure, etc., anything that you
are willing to donate if you are not using them. All suggestions and/or donations are
greatly appreciated.

Club President Heidi Simpson requests that members bring a snack to share.
Being a nibbler myself, I think it would be alright to bring a goodie, even if
you are not a member!
