School Board to Appoint Zone II Trustee and New School Principal

The Garden Valley School Board Trustees will hold a special meeting on Monday, August 2, 2010, at 6:00 p.m., to discuss and consider the appointment of a trustee to fill the vacancy in Zone II. The new board member will be sworn in at the meeting.

In executive session, board trustees will discuss personnel issues. They will also consider the motion to hire a Business Teacher for 2010-2011 and consider the motion to hire a Maintenance Director.

Interviews with four candidates for the position of school principal have been conducted over the past two weeks. Board trustees will consider the motion to hire a Garden Valley School Principal, during executive session.

The board reserves the right to change the agenda prior to or at the meeting.

  2. I'm sure the board is aware when motions are to be made, and follow the appropriate procedures within the open meeting. Sometimes news releases do not always contain the correct information.

  3. So true. It is not the board I worry about my interest is in educating the public. This news release contains more correct information than most.
