Happy May! Let’s hope the April
showers bring plenty of those May flowers.
This week ends with Cinco de Mayo and we’re ready with all the fixins. In addition to Mexican foods and sides you can find in our grocery aisles, our Meat Dept will have Carne Asada and plenty of skirt steak (great for marinating). If you enjoy margaritas when celebrating May 5th, we have the salt and mixers in the liquor section.
Camping supplies arrived this week including stoves, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and tents. Check out the propane BBQ’s, Patio Umbrellas and Stands.
Finally, Jan and Leigh Ward (Warm Springs Greenhouse) will open Garden Mountain Nursery this Friday in front of our Store. They have wanted a retail presence in Crouch for a couple of years and decided to take the plunge this year. Many of you are familiar with their hanging baskets and other flowers. Along with Syringa Floral and Gifts and the Trading Post’s Greenhouse (supplied by Wards nursery) and gardening supplies, we will not have to travel far or take an entire day when it comes to purchasing items for our lawns and gardens. It will all be covered thanks to those 3 businesses.
Garden Mountain Nursery is not the only new business opening this weekend. It is also the Grand Opening for Syringa Floral and Gifts and Ravens Nest, located in downtown Crouch on Market Street (on either side of the Red Rooster). Check out their schedule of events for the day including door prizes, live music, etc.
We look forward to your next visit and if you’re over 60, we hope to see you on Thursdays for your 10% discount. Have a great week and weekend.
